Used lighting setup for the illumination. Modeled over a week or so working on and off. Lighting finished after a few days of work.
This was created with 3dsmax 8 and 9, and rendered using Vray. Scene textures unwrapped and created in Photoshop using the Total Texture CDs from 3dtotal.com. The idea was to create a very warm, inviting open room with major emphasis placed on lighting and textures; The scene geometry itself is very simple.
